Enrollment

PCS is open to any student in Plumas and contiguous counties who meets the admissions requirements described in the Student Enrollment Policy and Procedure shown below.  If the number of students exceeds our enrollment capacity, for other than returning students, enrollment shall be determined through the use of a public lottery and subsequent waiting list.

 Priority shall be extended as follows:
              1. Pupils currently attending PCS
              2. Siblings of students currently enrolled at PCS
              3. Children of PCS staff - not to exceed 10% of total student population
              4. Students residing within the boundaries of the Plumas Unified School District

Pre-enrollment is requested each spring for returning students and new enrollments.  The pre-enrollment form will aide in determining the need for a lottery in any given classroom.
